Hello, I lived in South Africa and sells golf and safari tours and then - I'm back home now in Ottawa and in retirement.
But blood is now! LOL Here are some answers that I have in the past, you might want to see. Someone said, you just go and book when you get there - certainly not want this (not - experience in February this is exactly what I would do from April to September, however). Here are a few friends in the industry who can help you be if you want to help the tour operators, such as

Here are my suggestions previous tour:

South Africa, because I think they intend to do, do not exceed 10 days, and if Mauritius is a beautiful place.
Also, the city would like to visit the sun while you are here and not for the natural beauty of the Mpumalanga Province, which is the Kruger National Park.
haha this is crazy, I lived in South Africa for 3 years and now I live in Toronto. So you can have enough information.
1) was definitely worth it. omg absolutely beautiful. I picked up the garden path from Pretoria to Cape Town. absolutely breathtaking, the mountains and all. We even saw a leopard, beside the road! (Tho it is) very, very rare. very tired from their environment, for example, leave your phone / wallet in the car, not stopping on streets, do not go at night (except) in Cape Town and should be good.
2) Includes flights? And flights vary widely, so to say, theft) under, Arnd perhaps $ 3,000 (Canadian dollar. Of course it depends on your choice of hotels. Tell City Lodge. This seems cheap (and still is - in relative terms), but is 100% Clean and like a little 5-star hotel, no luxury.
3) OK in Cape Town, Cape Point, finally, the Cape of Good Hope, Table Mountain, the cheetah park, several beaches and could also be a short drive to the nearest george and Knysna, where the view is absolutely magnificent. must also be wine tasting in Stellenbosch.
Durban is a bit less elegant than Cape Town. If I you prefer to visit Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban. Durban, but still worth a visit. the underwater world in Durban is very beautiful, and there is a restaurant on a pier and you can see sailing (can not remember his name freighters). I recommend the Kruger Park, but it is quite clear from the street. Tho pity, because the Kruger Park is huge and very cheap compared to the smaller wildlife parks across the country.
4) the easiest way to think flights are the best in my head: Toronto, New York (JFK) - Cape Town, Johannesburg and Toronto - Frankfurt - Cape Town (Lufthansa, but it is usually quite expensive) / Toronto - Amsterdam - Cape Town: Toronto - Paris - Johannesburg - Cape Town / Toronto - London - Cape Town.
5) toooons beaches of Cape Town. I sincerely believe that all are similar, so you must stay on the side of the Atlantic, more beautyiful towards Indian Ocean (albeit much older!). Accommodation, we have said. Lunch in Cape Town can be very expensive, but alcohol is very cheap in South Africa.
6) I do not think travel to Toronto, so I do not know the price of fuel ABT here, but I think the fuel, which is in southern Africa is very expensive. be willing to use up a few thousand rand for fuel. if it for them, you could drive from Cape Town to Durban in a day, provided that you reallly from early morning, and will probably be very late at night. but could also break on their journey to Port Elizabeth and East London. I found it almost certainly continue on the path. As usual, just tired of their surroundings, keep windows closed their doors.
I 7) I never regret Tours in Cape Town, it knows nothing about them. I have read up on tourist attractions and map in hand, looking for those places I'm much more adventurous and exciting. but about you.
8) If you recommend 10 days seriously, that you do not. There are only soSouth Africa, will leave you now.
Hope this helps!
1. Unless you have been in Europe I would say that Europe would go better, but if you want to visit Europe and South Africa, to try something else, is a good option. South Africa is as easy as in the tourism industry in Asia, partly due to the fact that the language is no problem, and it was culturally very similar to most Western countries.
If Europe is safer, but crime is not as bad as previously done. The biggest problem is when people come along, the liberal belief that blacks should be forgiven, because it is something wrong because of apartheid to do. Be sensitive and Street Smart and listen to local people and was fine.
2. What is the total cost to get an idea of the hotels range from ZAR 600 to R 3000 per night cost you can still go much higher if the stay in the elite hotels. (There is a big difference in price 3 to 5 star) is a good idea of what they described as a business hotel will remain classified, they are very comfortable and usually cost around R1000 per night for a room. A meal in a restauranttwo will be R400 and R 200 will cost excluding drinks. A bottle of wine starts at about R40 in a restaurant. For renting a decent car is about R400 per day.
3. The activities that seem to have mentioned all very well when you first time in South Africa can do more. I would say that leaving one or two days free to do things that occur during your stay.
4. There are no direct flights from Toronto to South Africa. Delta flies direct from JFK to Cape Town, which will soon be traded to Atlanta. SAA also flies to the U.S. and is much better airline delta. Many other airlines also fly between Johannesburg and the Americas. His journey will probably consist of 2 or 3 shots.
Once in South Africa, the options of the SAA and BA, or are one of several low-cost airlines Kaloolah.
5. They are probably the best beaches of Camps Bay and one of the beaches of Clifton. Blouberg and Table View beaches, but far from offering a panorama of postcard from the CBD of Table Mountain. All these beaches are more or less conducive for swimming in the water is very cold. Best floating beach of the beach and Gordons Bay.
6. Yes, it's definitely going on the Garden Route. It would be more expensive than Cape Town, probably a little cheaper. If you have a vehicle in the Garden Route at the top of the trajectory of a garden of Port Elizabeth could easily go to Durban + - 8 hours or take a flight.
7. It is a good idea. Very often, the best idea to just rent a car and trips to the self-paced, much more profitable and better in my opinion.
8. This flight is not very profitable is very expensive. And with only 10 days of the calendar is very tight. In fact, it is cheaper to Zanzibar, go to Mauritius.
